CJB Construction had the pleasure of participating in the 2007 Cottages for Kids Charity event.
The CVHN Cottages for Kids is a unique fundraising event that benefits Children’s Volunteer Health Network, Inc., a faith based, 501©3 non-profit organization that facilitates free medical, health and mental health for uninsured and underinsured children in Florida’s Okaloosa and Walton counties.

CJB Construction partnered with Archiscapes to design and build our version of “The Pineapple Under The Sea” Cottage. The theme of this year’s event was “Being Green”. The Pineapple Under The Sea utilized many green elements including recycled materials, low VOC paints, and natural elements such as the beach sand and sea shells to decorate the inside of the pineapple.

CJB Construction and Archiscapes was awarded the Originality Award for the cottage. The Originality Award for the “Pineapple Under The Sea” was presented for its uniqueness, variety of design elements and originality.
